Pass, Pass, Cut and Shoot

Drill Setup & Execution:

  • One line at the top with the ball.

  • A second line on the wing to receive a pass.

  • A third line on the opposite wing, where a player cuts toward the ball.

  • The wing player passes to the cutter, who catches and shoots.

Why This Drill Works for Women's Lacrosse:
This drill emphasizes quick ball movement, off-ball cutting, and finishing under pressure, all essential for effective offensive play. It teaches players to time their cuts, pass accurately on the move, and finish in stride, which translates directly to game situations. It also reinforces spacing, communication, and decision-making in a structured yet fluid offensive sequence.
