Cross crease feeds to the cutter

Objective: To improve cutting, passing accuracy, catching, and shooting skills while keeping players in constant motion.

Setup:

• Form two lines: one feeding line and one shooting line.

• The feeding line starts from behind or to the side of the goal, and the shooting line is positioned in front of the goal, ready to receive a pass.

Drill Instructions:

• A player from the feeding line passes the ball to the player cutting from the shooting line.

• The player in the shooting line cuts toward the ball, catches the pass in front of the goal, and immediately takes a shot.

• After passing, the player from the feeding line moves to the end of the shooting line.

• After shooting, the player from the shooting line moves to the end of the feeding line.

Focus Points:

• Players should time their cuts so they are in motion as the ball arrives.

• Emphasize accurate passing, crisp catches, and quick, controlled shots on goal.

• Keep the pace fast to simulate game-like scenarios and improve reaction time.

Rotation:

• Continue the drill with players alternating between lines, keeping the flow consistent and players engaged.
