This fast-paced 3v3 drill enhances both defensive and offensive skills, focusing on stick handling, communication, and positioning.

Why It’s Effective:

• Encourages defenders to practice stick skills and communication.

• Teaches footwork, approach, and positioning.

• Offense works on quick ball movement and capitalizing on mismatches.

Setup:

• 3 defenders start behind the goal.

• 3 offensive players position at the top.

Drill Flow:

1. The ball starts with a defender behind the goal.

2. After passing, the defender picks up an offensive player.

3. The last defender passes to an offensive player to activate play.

4. The 3v3 begins with live action.

This drill provides a game-like scenario, improving both team coordination and individual skills on both ends of the field.
