Why This Practice Plan Works
Youth and early high school players need simplicity, structure, and repetition. This practice plan builds core concepts like cutting, passing, screening, and spacing. Every drill is purposeful and digestible for younger athletes, but still pushes game-awareness and effort.
By mixing fundamental drills with simplified versions of real actions (like Michigan State and Double Shooter), your players develop habits that translate immediately to competition. The focus is on building smart, connected, and confident players who move well and understand team concepts.
This is the kind of plan that turns a rec team into a real team.
